The Service Repair Technician will provide timely and quality diagnosis and repair of customer?s two-cycle and four-cycle products while maintaining high customer service.
Job Responsibilities:
Performs diagnosis and repair two-cycle, four-cycle engines, and mechanical equipment of customer's product, order parts, research part availability, and complete customer service orders via computer software.
Installs mechanical/electronic parts and performs necessary repairs and able to provide direction to the Technician Assistants, as applicable.
Able to create detailed estimates and makes initial customer contact to sell the repair, as applicable.
Must be able to meet key performance metrics to include daily, weekly, and monthly goals.
Specific Essential Functions:
Ability to follow directions and safely use basic hand tools or instruments to diagnose and repair customer product.
Ability to handle stressful situations and work in a fast paced environment.
Ability to work variable and flexible hours, including overtime.
Ability to perform all services within manufacturer specifications and Company Policies and Procedures.
Ability to demonstrate appropriate time management skills.
Ability to follow specific process steps to ensure quality workmanship
Ability to work around gas and oil products within the EPA and OSHA guidelines
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned
Experience/Education/Certification Requirements:
High School diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
Must be at least 18 years of age
Certification and /or licenses preferred but not necessary
Experience and aptitude with computers and databases
Must be able to pass the pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check
