These guys from http://moversBoston-MA.com great and highly professional for all phases of setting up my move: from getting a web estimate-Julia emailed me back with a quote in under :15 minutes!, to scheduling-they were able to accommodate my choice of moving date on fairly short notice, to the actual moving day itself. To top it all off their estimate came in significantly lower than anyone else gave me, for a 1 BR move from Newton to Brookline.
For the actual move I worked with Rob and Henry-who were not only really hip dudes, they were friendly, enthusiastic and highly professional as well. They called me to let me know, that the previous job was tougher than expected, and when I should expect them during my time window, which was pretty exact. My move went smoothly and quickly-took about 2hrs total. All my stuff was skillfully moved up and down a couple flights-all safe and sound, no damage & nothing missing. We had a small hiccup with an item we both overlooked and left behind at my old place, but these guys followed through big time. They also gave me ride in the truck with them to my new apt.
All in all they made what is normally a really stressful event, much less stressful, without dealing with any of the "open your wallet and watch money come flying out of it, until your move is complete" sketchiness we've come to expect from some of the "big name" movers in Boston area. BIG THUMBS UP & HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
