The preferred candidate must possess a minimum of 10 years of federal consulting experience, specifically in the areas of federal cost accounting system standards, federal cost accounting best practices, processes and procedures. The candidate must be customer-service oriented, detailed oriented, results oriented and have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, written and oral communication skills, with a demonstrated command of the English language. Candidate must be able to serve in the role of a Sr. Cost Accounting manager, senior advisor and liaison between the FEDERAL CLIENT Cost Accounting Branch, the program offices, the FEDERAL CLIENT Lines of Businesses (LOB) and services offices (SO).
This candidate must be highly knowledgeable and experienced with the implementation of Federal Cost Accounting Standards, Procedures and Processes and the use and interpretation of cost accounting data within the Federal Government. This candidate must be knowledgeable and experienced with the operations of federal cost accounting systems and the maintenance of such cost accounting systems. This includes the execution of cost accounting activities and the monitoring and reporting of (1) all pre-allocation cost accounting activities, (2) activities related to the cost allocation processes and (3) required post cost allocation activities. This candidate must be highly knowledgeable and experienced with obtaining, retrieving and analyzing cost accounting data.
