What you need to do the job:
- Do you have a concern for wilderness and wilderness preservation?
- Are you outgoing, positive, and dedicated?
- Can you talk to people about the opportunities and threats facing Manitoba?s natural
areas?
This is what it takes to be an educational canvasser:
Knowledge off the Wilderness Committee?s mandate and campaigns is an asset but is not required. Full training will be provided. Full-time hours in Winnipeg are Monday to Friday, 4:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. with a minimum commitment of 3 shifts per week. Canvassing builds communication skills, and environmental work helps everyone?s future. Make a difference in your community and earn a guaranteed $10 to $15 per hour, with incentives for exemplary performers.
The Wilderness Committee believes in action. We?ve had a hand in protecting over 50 major wilderness areas in Canada, including millions of hectares of critical wildlife
habitat. Come do your part for our wilderness.
