4 day Introduction to Welding

This 4 day Introduction to Welding is is a non-ticket/ introduction to welding course for consumers with no prior welding experience. The 4 day course introduces students to the basic requirements in metal- arc welding. Students will be able to understand and describe the classification of electrodes and there intended uses; various welding processes and the materials used, as well as methods of destructive and non-destructive testing of welds and trouble shooting procedures. Procedures will cover type and techniques of joint design, theory, and sound welding principles.
