Job Description:
Independently operate and maintain the premises during managerial shifts
Manage customer relations incl; individual and corporate mailing lists
Manage, schedule & train staff
Develop Procedural documentation for POS cashier, computer operations and store operations
Develop marketing and sales strategies incl. merchandising and display of products, including planning & executing tasting events and customer samplings
Establish product & assist with catering pricing
Manage accounts payable, receivables and compiled figures for HST filings
Reconcile cash, debit and credit card purchases on daily basis & make weekly bank deposits
Ensure daily, weekly & maintenance cleaning of store & appliances as well as general operations (laundry, Inventory and order all products on a weekly basis as well as research new products
Inventory consignment products on a monthly basis and submit for payment
Catering prep of cheese and cold plates for events including ordering, shopping, preparation and arranging deliveries
Coordinate with TLG events dept to provide catering for events.
Manage Kitchen, oversee preparation of take out foods and café menus
Organization and preparation of ATOQ special events including monthly tastings
Creating relationships with Corporate clients for gifts and catering
Organizing of attendance to offsite food shows and markets
General Qualifications
1.Retail Management Experience
2.Customer service Experience
3.Food industry/ Restaurant Experience
4.Food Handling Experience
5.Knowledge of Quebec culture
6.Supplier management
Specific Qualifications
1.Bilingual (French/English)
2.Knowledge and interest in Quebec artisan foods
3.Food Handler certified
4.Smart Serve certified
5.Computer skills - Retail accounting and Point of Sale 6.Marketing experience would be a plus
