Scrum Master will lead delivery teams using an Agile/Scrum methodology to deliver products. The Scrum Master will remove obstacles, enhance collaboration, and ensure teams deliver on-target results. In addition, we place a strong emphasis on technical understanding, software development technologies, best practices, and working with flexible and distributed teams.
The Scrum Master's chief objective is to ensure that the team produces technically superior software that provides tangible value to users. He or she must be able to lead and direct multiple software delivery teams in an agile environment. Leadership, organizational, project management skills and motivational abilities are essential. The Scrum Master will work with the teams to reach their highest potential while promoting self-management.
DUTIES RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead daily stand-up meetings, iteration sizing and planning, retrospectives, and demonstrations
Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Development Managers to plan releases and ensure backlog maintenance
Track teams velocity and plans accordingly
Ensure the delivery teams are practicing agile methodology and software engineering best practices
Identify and remove any impediments or obstacles to the delivery team
Report schedule progress, team status and issues to senior management
Mentor and educate developers in the practical benefits of agile processes
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, creativity, and innovation
Aid delivery team with determining suitable commitments for user stories, defects, and tasking
Coordinate and schedule the execution of deliverables across multiple teams
Protect time allocated to developers to explore innovative solutions to business and technical problems
Prioritize technical debt
Champion continuous improvements in processes and development techniques applied by the delivery team and the entire development organization by collaborating with other Sc
