Looking for an internship that will allow you to develop your talents, take ownership and contribute to Toronto's music and arts community? Manifesto Community Projects is looking for driven, dynamic and self-motivated people to join our team who are passionate about using the power of arts, culture, and community to change lives.
Now moving into our 7th year, Manifesto has grown to become Canadas largest hip hop and urban arts festival and one of Torontos fastest-growing, youth-led non-profit arts organizations. Were working hard to build upon this foundation, and having the support of driven interns will play a crucial role in our future growth.
About Us
Manifesto is a grassroots, non-profit organization that seeks to unite, energize, support and celebrate Torontos vibrant and diverse music and arts community, and find innovative ways of working together towards common goals. We aim to provide a platform and the resources needed to advance the growth of the arts as a tool for positive change on the individual, community and global levels.
The programming assistant will work directly with Manifesto staff to contribute, supporting and advance the organizations vision and activities. They will develop skills that will further their career objectives while gaining exposure to a vast network of young, cultural innovators.
Job Description:
Major Responsibilities:
Develop a clear understanding of Manifestos organizational mission and mandate; and uphold the integrity of these values within the organization.
Acting as a liason between Manifesto Programming team (7 programmers) as well as with other Manifesto departments.
Assisting in accomplishing small tasks with these other staff
