Looking for an internship that will allow you to develop your talents, take ownership and contribute to Toronto's music and arts community? Manifesto Community Projects is looking for driven, dynamic and self-motivated people to join our team who are passionate about using the power of arts, culture, and community to change lives.
Now moving into our 7th year, Manifesto has grown to become Canadas largest hip hop and urban arts festival and one of Torontos fastest-growing, youth-led non-profit arts organizations. Were working hard to build upon this foundation, and having the support of driven interns will play a crucial role in our future growth.
About Us
Manifesto unites, inspires and empowers diverse communities of young people through arts and culture.
We aim to provide a platform and the resources needed to advance the growth of the arts as a tool for positive change on the individual, community and global levels. Interns will work directly with Manifesto staff to contribute, supporting and advance the organizations vision and activities. They will develop skills that will further their career objectives while gaining exposure to a vast network of young, cultural innovators.
Job Description:
The assistant to the executive director will aid in the following areas:
Manage Schedule - all incoming meeting requests as well as daily calendar updates to Executive
Assisting Executive in all possible works: meetings, preparing documents and presentations
Attend to phone calls, messages and also respond to emails and social media
Coordinate travel itinerary and bookings
Conduct market research and help make informed and important decisions
Represent Executive in meetings, on calls etc. when Executive is unavailable
Speech Writing and Copywriting
