Description
Seller-provided details for this listing.
Please read through this entire posting; it contains important instructions that we ask be followed.
Have you ever illustrated and/or created characters for:
1. An animated film/video
2. An animated TV series, and/or
3. A comic strip/comic book/graphic novel; either for print or online?
If yes, then we'll want to speak with you.
We are a Toronto-based production company: black DRAGON moving pictures (Google us, we're usually on the first page of results). We have secured an agreement with an animation studio to produce a children's animated tv series.
Our Pitch Bible has been approved for presentation to broadcasters; we now just need to illustrate the main characters of the show.
We're looking for a talented Illustrator who can create original illustrations based on the character descriptions in the Pitch Bible, and a creative briefing supplied by the Producers.
The selection process:
1. Initial submissions will be assessed; and narrowed to a semi-short list of 10 to 12 Illustrators.
2. The semi-short list will assessed by our Producers for narrowing down to a short-list of three (3) Illustrators.
3. The short-list Illustrators will be invited to create line drawing sketch proposals of two characters, and one storyboard of those two characters from a scene in the pilot script.
4. Based on the submissions in step 3, the Producers will choose one Illustrator to illustrate the entire Pitch Bible (which will be submitted to broadcasters around the world by our animation studio partner).
The final chosen Illustrator will be paid $500 for his/her work to create the illustrations for the Pitch Bible.
Future opportunity:
The chosen Illustrator may be offered employment on the tv series as an Illustrator, Animator, or other appropriate position commensurate with their skills, training and experience.
