Indigo Records in collaboration with The York Region Conservatory of Music will be holding AUDITIONS
In the month of September, Victoria Gilbert Mendes (Registered Adjudicator with the Canadian Music Festival Adjudicators Association & Examiner for the Royal Conservatory of Music) will be auditioning singers of all ages (4 & upwards) for a very special project that is done yearly in order to support the Hospital for Sick Children.
It is to be expected that only one song will be heard (verse & chorus). However, Vocalists are encouraged to prepare two songs (something appropriate for age group & in the line of love, nature, beauty or worship). Song can be from any decade. Singers can choose to sing accapella or bring along a CD backing track.
The CD compilation to be entitled ?Superstars? will be released in June 2012 & will be marked by a CD release gala entitled ?Evening with the Stars.? There is also one release & gala in November of each year.
Proceeds from the sale of CD compilation & dinner gala will go towards priority need at the Hospital for Sick Children.

You will be informed immediately if you get a spot on the CD.
There is NO FEE to audition, record or be on the CD. More information about the project will be given to all singers that make it through the audition.
