Summer Non-contact Hockey for Youth and Kids !!!
Looking for a summer hockey program? Only available for a couple weeks? Have a son/daughter 8-12 years old? This is the summer league for you!
Two games available. One for kids from 8-12 years old and another for youth 13-16 years old.
Starts the first Saturday in July (July 7th) and the last game is on the last Saturday in August (Aug. 25th). This is hockey every week for 2 months. Total of 8 games.
Some details on the game:
- 5 on 5 hockey with two goalies
- games are capped at 20 players
- referee on ice to call the off-sides and the occasional icing or penalty
- 50 minutes of playing time
- full equipment
- part of the Ottawa Rec Hockey League (ORH)
All games are at the RA centre (near Riverside). The 8-12 year old game is at 4:30-5:20 PM. The older youth game (13-16 years old) is at 5:30-6:20 PM.
Fees are $150 for a regular player. If (due to summer vacations etc) you would prefer to only play a couple games then you can sign up to be on the spare list for the games. I will contact the people on the spare list every week to fill any available spots on the teams.
