Hello. I am placing this ad offering my services to help design your company or personal website.
I believe that my creative and artistic skills combined with my knowledge of web designing techniques and fundamentals will fulfill the duties and responsibilities of a webdesigner.
My qualifications in webdesigning include the successful completion of the Certified Internet Webmaster online course and applying the acquired skills in creating an online portfolio which is still in progress. The portfolio demonstrates my abilities in the following webdesigning skills:
Designing the layout, look and feel of a website with Dreamweaver using tables, templates and styles
Create, modify and update web graphics with Fireworks such as buttons, navigation bars and drop-down menus
Creating animations and graphics with Flash such as logos and banners
Writing HTML code and creating formatting styles with CSS
I am currently involved in volunteer work as a webdesigner with a non-profit organization called Computers for Communities. My initial role is to design a new look for the organization's website. First, I designed a mock-up of the website template using Fireworks to create the banners, color, text, buttons, and graphics. I am at the stage where the actual template for the website is created using HTML and CSS. At a later stage, I will apply to the website the other web developing technologies that I am presently learning.
I have worked on a website for a client on Kijiji where he was interested in the design of another website so he requested me to redesign its template in accordance with his website. This was a great opportunity for me to utilize my webdesign skills in experimenting different webdesign solutions.
I am currently dealing with another client on Kijiji where he wants me to create a website for his business. It will further hone my webdesign skills and creativity with the possibility of diversing my skillset applying new webdesigning tools and technol
