My daughter loves cats but is taking medication that prevents us from owning one. She was assigned an independent study and chose cats as her topic. Unfortunately, I know nothing about cats and can't really offer her any help with the survey part of her project.
I helped her make a survey on the internet but kijiji made us take it down. I figured I would put the survey questions here with the hope that anyone with cat experience could help answer them.

1. Approximately how much do you spend on cat litter per week?
2. How often do you switch the type of litter?
3. If you don't ever switch the type of litter, is there any circumstance which would make it likely for you to switch it? ie: your brand has become more expensive. If the answer is still 'No' please state why.
4. What type of litter box(es) do you use? Examples: covered, uncovered, self-cleaning, dome, etc.
5. How many litter boxes do your cats use?
6. What type of litter do you use? Examples: Clay, pine, paper, silicone, etc.
7. On a scale of 1 to10, how annoying do you find it to clean the litter box? (1 being not annoying at all and 10 being highly annoying)
8. How often do you completely replace the litter?
