Dear readers,
Do More Canada Inc. is a non profit student initiative raising human rights awareness through community and artistic events. Our work includes raising funds to assist the victims of conflicts, and working with existing humanitarian organizations to deliver aid to the victims. For the time being, our main focus is the ongoing crisis in Darfur and other outbreaks in Sudan, such as South Kordofan and the Blue Nile.
Do More Canada Inc. is currently seeking new volunteers to join its team. As you know, the success of our organization depends on volunteer participation to help with a number of tasks such as planning, advocating and executing.
At the moment were on the lookout for both adult and student volunteers to help us in daily and seasonal activities. Some positions are Campaign Leaders, Advocacy Team Members, Communication Team Members, Recruiting Leaders and Policy Making Leaders. There is a position to suit everybodys interests.
Were welcoming new members and volunteers to join us before the Rhythms for Change Acoustic Showcase in order to allow them to participate in the amazing experience of creating a benefit concert. This year will be our third edition and wed be happy to share our knowledge.
At the moment there are 2 types of positions.
Event Volunteers
Event volunteers help the team through promotion and partake in activities the day of events.
Team Members
Do More Canada Inc. is always looking for new team members to help organize events and to help run campaigns. These positions also entail certain tasks, such as bringing new ideas and opinions to the team. It also includes attending team meetings.
We encourage everyone to pass this along to family members, co-workers and friends.
