The Delivery / Set-up Technician is a member of the Pump and Power Team and is responsible for loading, delivering and picking up equipment and supplies as well as assist in pump setups and teardowns as required. The Delivery / Set-up Technician will also demonstrate a continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turn-around times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless service to external and internal customers.
Job Responsibilities:
Load and deliver rental equipment to external and internal customers
Ensure equipment being delivered is properly identified on the delivery slip, record the unit number, serial number and hours on the machine. Ensure unit is full of fuel
Ensure that the quantity of accessories is properly recorded on the delivery/packing slip
Operate company trucks in a safe and efficient manner
Perform daily inspections of the vehicle and document as required
Inform Supervisor when vehicle requires maintenance or repairs
Load and pick up rental equipment from external and internal customers
Inspect equipment upon loading, note any defects, broken, damaged equipment
Ensure equipment being picked up is properly identified, record the unit number, serial number, hours and fuel level. Record any damages on the pick-up slip
Unload equipment in a designated area upon arrival to the yard
Fill unit with fuel, record on the pick-up slip so that Aquatech can recover the fuel costs
Separate the damaged equipment/accessories from non damaged equipment accessories
Install RED tag on equipment after unloading
Return pick up slip with all recorded information to the Order Desk
Inform Supervisor of any damages to equipment
Perform clean up duties in the shop and yard when no driving/deliveries are required
Assist in pumping system setups as required
Qualifications and Required Experience
Valid Ontario Drivers license, in good standing
Ontario Seco
