Our client is well-established in the printing and consulting industry. They are looking for a Mail/Bindery/Printing Clerk in Laval, QC to work on a long term assignment.
Essential Duties:
This position will require customer interaction. Job intake and helping as required. Looking for some with good customer services skills along with some good basic computer skills
Mail
o Prepare charge-back reporting for postage - courier etc.
o Use of software to update or maintain mailing addresses.
o Provide mailing address clean-up (may include use of mail cleansing software
o Set up and operate high level mail equipment such as: mail inserters - sorters and finishing equipment in an automated high speed / high volume environment
Print and Finishing
o Perform basic digital print production
o Clean and maintain finishing equipment to ensure optimal use
o Perform colour calibration using densitometers and perform colour adjustments.
o Record meter reads - process production forms and maintain records
Equipment Care
o Carry out regular preventative maintenance checks on client fleet of machines
o Order and replenish fleet consumables as required
o Carry out first level issue resolution utilizing basic product and/or technical sk
