My client is well-established in banking industry. They are looking for an Experienced Mailroom Clerk to work in Montreal, QC. This is a long term assignment with the possibility of extension.
Essential Duties:
Manage and track packages through local delivery services.
Perform electronic mail distribution.
Perform bar code address lookup and quality review.
Contact recipients regarding mail availability and services.
Barcode tracking or face scanning incoming mail and packages.
Complete X-ray scanning of incoming mail as required.
May perform basic reprographic services.
Escalate all customer complaints identifying appropriate owner - XCAR process is mandatory-advise customers and manager of all late or delayed couriers.
Monitor and manage supplies inventory mail and distribution activities.
Provide mailing address cleanup services.
Determine method of shipment and arrange shipping
Unpack code and route goods to appropriate storage areas.
May operate forklift, hand truck or other equipment to load unload
transport and store goods.
Perform mailroom duties including receive, sort and delivery of mail and courier.
