Our client is well established bank looking for a Data Entry Clerk with Banking Experience. It is a 3 months contract with strong possibility of extension and is located in Montreal, Quebec.
Job Description: Responsibilities:
Read source documents such as cheques, reports, or bills, and enter data in specific data fields or onto tapes or disks for subsequent entry, using keyboards or scanners
Compile, sort and verify the accuracy of data before it is entered
Reconcile bank accounts and /or general ledgers
Prepare documents to debit and/or credit accounts and general ledgers
Experience:
2 - 4 years related experience required
Skills:
Bilingual with Good English Skills (documentation is in English)
Ability to accurately document and record customer/client information on spreadsheets
Previous experience with computer applications especially Excel.
Good skill-set in working with numbers
