Location: Montreal, QC Duration: 6 months contract with possibility of extension Job Description: We are currently looking for an Analyst or BI. Responsibilities:
Primarily responsible for the functional analysis including the development of transformation rules required to load the data warehouse and drafting deliverables according to the methodology in place:
Requires system and functional specifications.
Collaborates with specialists to bring to the functional specifications of the optimum technical solutions.
Participates in impact assessments and detailed estimates;
Participates in the testing strategy;
Supports the development team during the implementation phase.
Defines and documents the functional test cases;
Participates in the preparation of necessary test environments;
Participates, supports and documents the functional testing;
Supports the implementation of changes to the data warehouse and DataMart;
During implantation, available for overtime as required;
Dealings with operations teams (DBA, Control-M, Unix Admin, etc.).
Participates in all stages of the development cycle solutions of the data warehouse.
MUST HAVES:
Experience with Oracle tools (Designer, Oracle Warehouse Builder);
Master SQL and PL / SQL;
Knowledge of SAS is an asset;
TOAD knowledge is an asset;
Good knowledge of modeling star;
Good knowledge of Oracle database;
Minimum 5 years experience in the development and evolution of a data warehouse;
Marked ability for research and evaluation
