Our Edmonton facility is looking for a mechanically inclined individual to join our team on a contract/temporary basis with the possibility of full-time employment as a polyethylene pipe fusion technician.
Job Description
- Outside Tech service and In-shop HDPE Pipe fusion & fitting services.
Employee Requirements
- ability to travel out-of-town with short notice.
- ability to work well with a minimum of supervision
- highest regard for customer service
- able to lift 50-75 pounds
- must have proven mechanical skills and experience in the fusion of materials.
- able to learn and be certifiable in polyethylene pipe fusion. (On the job training provided)
- ability to work well in, and in support of, a team based environment
- excellent organizational skills with an attention to detail
Education Requirements
- minimum grade 12 education
- valid Class 5 license
Previous experience in hdpe fusion welding would be considered an asset but not required. We offer an excellent opportunity for a performance based bonus package.
