Labour Ready a TrueBlue Company is currently hiring Grill Cooks for the fast food industry. These are Direct Hire Opportunities.
This is a new Exciting Franchise, 1st in Canada. Great Opportunity for advancement as customer is looking to expand to 2-3 locations in Edmonton. Job is bus accessible, own transportation always an asset.
Grill Cooks will be preparing Foods to customary food preparation standards.
Job Description:
Prepare and cooks food according to prep standards, menu and recipe standards.
Cleans food prep equipment and work station.
Adheres to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Maintains cleanliness of kitchen, floors, counter, and restrooms at all times.
Checks orders for accuracy.
Any other tasks assigned by management.
Job Requirements:
Must be bilingual, able to speak and communicate in English
Excellent communication skills with co-workers and customers.
Ability to read, count, and write accurately to complete all documentation and process payment.
Ability to stand for long periods of time.
Experience an asset, but not required. Willing to train motivated candidate.
Available to work a variety of hours/days, including: Nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
High School Diploma or equivalent.

Pay Rate: $12.50 - $14.00 per hour BOE
Shift/Hours: Must be flexible to work various shifts. 9:00am to 10:30pm.
