This family in Springbank Hill SW is looking for a nanny for their two girls, 2 years and 8 months and 6months old. Start date is would be in December but they are flexible with the start time and with days and times. Mom goes back to work in April on a full time basis, Mon - Fri.
The family enjoys anything outside. The older girl is dancing and is really big into Trains right now. Mostly Thomas. They spent most of the summer at Heritage park.
The parenting style is very structured but mostly because it helps them to understand the kids cues (tired, hungry, etc). Mom does most of the organizing, cleaning and child care but dad is very hands on with both girls. They always eat as a family and there is no baby talk. They encourage independent play and manners. TV time is very minimal - almost none.
The nanny they are looking for should be patient, must have recent experience with infants and toddlers, is fun but able to provide structured activities and routine. They are looking for someone long term, so someone who is loyal.
Spanish speaking would be an added bonus.
Driving is required and the nanny would need to have her own car.
