We are seeking a talented and dedicated Industrial Mechanics/ Millwrights and Industrial Electricians with a track record of excelling in service delivery to customers, associates and peers.
Please note this position is continental 12 hours rotating shifts with every other Friday/Saturday and Sunday off - Hourly wage $35/hr
The Electricians/Millwrights will report directly to the Maintenance Supervisor. As part of the maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance (PMs) and corrective work orders in a safe and timely manner. Working alone or in a group, you quick response and excellent troubleshooting skills will be key to our customer focused environment. Working rotating shifts as well as overtime when required.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Monitor and maintain all MHE, building, HVAC and fire system
Work with minimum supervision
Complete assigned tasks in a safe and timely manner
Communicate issues with fellow tradespersons as well as supervisors
Participate in continuous improvement objectives
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
MUST have certified Red Seal Millwright License or Red Seal Electrician License
Ability to read blueprints
Computer skills
5S/Lean experience
Must be able to be trained to drive a fork lift and man lift
Good troubleshooting abilities
3-5 years distribution/manufacturing experience considered an asset
