I run a well established Day Home of 8 years in Abbeydale. I have many qualifications and are as follows, Montessori Preschool Teaching Diploma, Level One Childcare Certificate, clean Police Clearance, First aid/CPR, member of the Learning Disabilities Society of Alberta and further studies in behavioural issues with children, including anger management, conflict resolution and stranger danger.
I am a Mother to a wonderful 11 year old boy. We have 2 cats in the home (who loves the kids), fenced backyard with toys and a sandbox, 2 parks a few blocks away. Ease of access for Chestermere and downtown area, as well as surrounding communities.
I also offer crafts, games, self directed activities, music and movement, worksheets featuring numbers, letters, shape recognition and printing practice. This is not a formal education but something extra I do as time permits.
This is a private Day Home so no subsidy is available. Full time/part time/summer care only. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 6:30am - 5:30pm. No transportation available. Please contact Colleen at 403-604-9170 to discuss your childcare needs. I look forward to meeting with you and your family.
