Reporting to the General Manager, this position is to proactively protect all assets including people, property and proprietary information. The AP Supervisor assists in planning, examining, analyzing, evaluating and leading the asset protection function in an effort to protect associates and mitigate risk to the organization.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Establish and maintain a safe working environment for all associates and visitors
Responsible for controlled access and security of all associates and visitors
Promote ongoing asset protection awareness to all associates ensuring a good understanding of roles & responsibilities related to their role in asset protection
Develop a strong level of commitment to asset protection programs with all management and associates
Leverage strong operational knowledge to identify and help lead to the reduction of shrink
Proactively identify causes of loss and recommend improvements to facility leadership
Lead to resolution all external and internal investigations
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
A college diploma in law and security or equivalent combination of education and experience in law and security foundation training
At least two (2) to seven (5) years experience in a management/supervisory capacity
At least seven (2) years experience in asset protection role
Working knowledge of asset protection systems such as: ADT, EAS, CCTV, and Key Scan
Have flexibility to work various shifts as the needs of the business require
Working knowledge of law enforcement and private security
